A large holothurian with a distinctive colour pattern as shown. It ejects sticky white tubules (cuverian tubules) when disturbed.

Leopard Sea Cucumber (species: Bohadschia argus)
The new species can be distinguished from Bohadschia argus by colour pattern (see photos). The colour pattern of the new species had been considered variability within Leopard Sea Cucumber until Maria Byrne and Sven Uthicke showed molecular differences in 2011 (unpublished?). They will describe the new species.
