Distinguishing features
It has a brown forehead, speckled with white. It has a white front, graduating to a light chestnut colour on the abdomen and to a more obvious chestnut colour on the rump. The back and upper side of the wings are darker. It has pale rufous edges to the wing feathers. The tail feathers are dark with white at the tips.
The legs and beak are dark grey and the iris is white.
