Toxic Flower Urchin (Toxopneustes pileolus), Camp Cove, Sydney Harbour

Native to the tropical Indo-Pacific region, this dangerous urchin seems to have set up residence in Sydney's Camp Cove. It was first reported here exactly 50 years ago by Underwater Research Group (URG). Several surveys this year have reliably once again found this species at the site.
