Distinguishing features

It has a grey-buff breast with fine white streaks. The female is larger than the male with a back that is a mottled brown, black or cinnamon colour, again with fine white streaking. It has a plain cinnamon rump and tail. The male is like the female but has duller colours.

The eyes are yellow. (Simpson and Day)
