Distinguishing features

Dark black streak from snout to eye with a small black streak above the tympanum. Brown above, specked with smaller paler brown spots and black specks concentrated around the vertebral line. Original tail dark brown or black. Four to Five complete whitish crossbands. Verterbral ridge from nape to tail. Limbs long and thin. (Wikipedia)
