Interesting facts

  • This coral is a hermaphrodite so when it spawns it releases both sperm and eggs. Ideally they are looking to cross-fertilise, to meet someone new, but if they cannot find anyone they will self-fertilise, creating a mixed up version of themselves and hoping that their grandchildren might find some new blood.
