Comments

A bacterium that lives in these coral attacks and kills the Streptoccocus bacterium. This is why Leather Finger Coral doesn’t worry about catching its death from Pneumonia or dying from ‘’Strangles’’ where its throat swells up so that it suffocates. 150,000 of its children were not killed in the 1800’s by Scarlet Fever or infected by ‘flesh-eating’ diseases. This is probably why the Teardrop Butterflyfish has none of these illnesses either, because it eats Leather Finger Coral and in doing so it gets a regular dose of anti-biotics.

NOTE: this coral is not suitable for humans to eat.
