Comments

Very popular sport fish, target by line and spear. The peak "Kingie" season is from December to May. A premium quality, sashimi grade fish. They are often curious when encountered diving and school around divers, occasionally in very large schools. In 2007 the minimum legal length was increased from 60cm TL to 65cm TL.
