Distinguishing features

Orange stripes on a grey/green body, a row of white spots on upper back, a black spot on upper side of tail peduncle and a black spot outlined in yellow on second dorsal fin.

Distribution and habitat preferences

It can be found in marine environments.

Inhabits sandy and muddy bottoms of turbid coastal reefs. Does not appear to use a burrow (FishBase).
