Distinguishing features

The ventral surface of the Bearded Dragon does not have three longitudinal streaks like the other species of Dragon Lizard in Yalgorup (Ctenophorus adelaidensis).

Behaviour

Partly arboreal. Bearded Dragons often climb into low shrubs to catch the last warming rays of the setting sun but as the sun sets they loose body heat and become stranded. If they don't warm up rapidly at sunrise they can easily be snatched by hunting raptors.
