A recent study by Australian scientists found that large sanctuary zones replenish fish stocks more quickly than smaller ones (Hamish et al Aquatic Conservation 2015). Despite its tiny size, Cabbage Tree Bay continues to produce big fish, like this 50 cm whiting.
