Yarrangobilly Caves, Kosciuszko National Park, New South Wales. Like all members of family Santalaceae they are hemiparasites, attaching to roots of other plants but having their own chlorophyll. A herbaceous perennial with prostrate stems creeping through grassland, it is considered rare in New South Wales.
