Tiny Wattle (Acacia bynoeana)

It is a diminutive wattle that often hides well amongst surrounding sedges and low shrubs. The plant sends out multiple seemingly short-lived branches to about 20 cm high from a perennial rootstock. It was unusual to find some plants with flowers and buds - this species typically flowers in summer.
