Gluepot Reserve, South Australia, Australia. We finally arrived at Gluepot Reserve in the mallee in the afternoon. This was virtually the first bird we saw upon arriving at Gluepot Headquarters - it was sitting in a tree near the visitor's centre. Apparently this species is not that common at Gluepot, but we did see several (or this one several times) during our stay. This one looks almost golden in the setting sun.
