Common Couch (Cynodon dactylon)

Cynodon is superficially similar to Digitaria (crab grass) except that its spikelets are laterally compressed and the it has a perennial mat or lawn forming habit in part to a stoloniferous growth habit (Digitaria is an annual bunchgrass).
