Ambua Lodge, Tari Valley, Papua New Guinea. Female. New Guinea endemic. One of 21 species of Birds-of-Paradise for us in PNG - unfortunately, this is a typical pose for BOPs: way too high or distant, hidden in foliage, with females tending to be particularly cryptic like this one.
