Kilcowera Station, via Thargomindah, Queensland, Australia. Female. This female MMC (note red eye) was snacking on grass stalks at the side of the road as we were driving around and just stayed there. I have a series of photos getting ever closer to her, expecting she would fly away, but she never did - just stayed there munching away. I'm guessing they don't see people all that much and have yet to associate us with danger - maybe I'm just not that scary? - people who know me probably wouldn't agree ;-)
