Cacicus latirostris (Band-tailed Oropendola)

An adult Band-tailed Oropendola from Project Amazona's Santa Cruz Forest Reserve, Loreto, Peru. Despite it's common name, this species is a true Cacique and is placed in the genus Cacicus, though sometimes it is placed in the monotypic genus Ocyalus.
