Blackish Blind Snake (Ramphotyphlops nigrescens)

Never, ever, EVER pick one of these snakes up... or even look at it funny. They STINK! The horrible smell and spike on their tail are their only defense against predators, including the Bandy Bandy snake which specialises on eating them. Not the best shot of this guy, but they just don't stop moving.
