Praire Grass (Bromus catharticus)

Shore of Botany Bay at Kyeemagh, just south of Sydney Airport. One of the most common weed grasses of higher-rainfall areas of south-eastern Australia, easily recognised by its flattened spikelets and very short-awned glumes and lemmas.
