Parramatta Grass (Sporobolus africanus)

Introduced, warm-season, perennial, erect, hairless and tufted grass, usually 40-90 cm tall. A native of Africa, it is found in disturbed or degraded, compacted areas (e.g. tracks, yards and around sheds).
