Eastern Brown Snake (Pseudonaja textilis)

I'm not sure how best to compose a photo of an Eastern Brown Snake when I get lucky enough to find one in the open like this. There's generally only a couple of seconds before it disappears back into cover. I'm reluctant to try for a low angle, front-on close up shot, considering this is the second most venomous snake in the world.
