Pimelea curviflora

Eastern Creek, western Sydney region, NSW, Australia. In abandoned pasture land on creek flat, now reserved for restoration of riparian habitat but at present very weed-infested. One of the more herbaceous and inconspicuous members of this large Australian genus. It has small axillary clusters of few, tiny yellowish to dull reddish flowers and colonizes disturbed habitats. I added "Pimelia" to the tags to aid searches, since that is a very common misspelling.
