Tiger snake (Notechis scutatus)

Wamboin, NSW, Australia. We had not one, but two Tiger Snakes basking in the morning sun on our front deck the other day. We've built a really nice, recirculating pond and creek right in front of the house, and it's nice to get the wildlife using it - lots of frog species, many birds use it, lots of dragonlies and damselflies, but it attracts Tiger Snakes unerringly.
