Female Brown Falcon (Falco (Falco) berigora)

Female in defence of a fledlging. She has just pulled up from a stoop over our postiion, she seems to have a particular aversion to 4WD vehicles. Every freather is hard at work reducing her speed as she makes a tight turn, to gain height for a second run. We were back in the vehicle by then. Just to see what its like on the receiving end.
