Cyperus betchei or Cyperus isabellinus

Possibly Cyperus betchei or Cyperus isabellinus. According to PlantNet, Cyperus betchei grows in seasonally wet situations such as stream banks and roadside drains and Cyperus isabellinus grows in ephemerally wet situations on clay soils. Back Creek, Pilliga Forest, NSW Australia, January 2009. Thanks to Karen for the correction. I had originally thought that this might be Cyperus haspan.
