Beautiful Firetail (Stagonopleura (Stagonopleura) bella)

Kangaroo Island, South Australia, Australia. Just a sneak preview of one of the birds of Kangaroo Island, which we also visited on our trip. We saw this eponymous species in several places amongst the heath of the island, and really are quite common and easily the most common finch species. A very cute little finch!
