Golden-crowned Snake (Cacophis squamulosus)

This guy was caught on the road due to leaf litter building up on the road blocking his exit under the guard rail. He wasn't impressed ;) This snake can often be handled like a carpet python, and settles down once it gets used to the warmth of your hands. I wouldn't recommend it though.
