Prickly Treefern (Cyathea leichhardtiana)

The altitude here is 65 metres above sea level, far south east of New South Wales. On the right are the smooth barked rainforest tree, the ancient Gondwana relict, Pinkwood (Eucryphia moorei). Usually found in the mountain ranges, but here growing close to sea level.
