Young male Superb Lyrebird (Menura (Menura) novaehollandiae)

Rocky Hall, NSW, Australia. This young male was putting on a wonderful display in our backyard in response to a nearby female lyrebird, and another male not far away. Beautiful dance accompanied by a full repertoire of mimickry - Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Grey Butcherbird, Crimson Rosella, Grey Shrike-thrush, Eastern Whipbird, Pilotbird, Gang-gang amongst others. A great experience!
