We usually have nothing more than the common household Huntsman around our place, so when this chap turned up on the patio door last night I thought I'd try and take a snap of it for identification purposes. Turns out to be a Shield Spider or Badge Huntsman (Neosparassus diana) according to the site listed below, at least it looks very much like one and he/she is back again tonight - I guess it's the season!
