Panic Veldtgrass (Ehrharta erecta)

Along Aqueduct Walk in Werribee Gorge State Park near Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, Australia. Altitude: 155 m amsl. Photographed on 13 September 2011. I had previously identified this as Tetrarrhena distichophylla, but Tony Rodd suggested it is likely to be Ehrharta erecta. On checking again, I think Tony is correct, but I need to go back and check the specimen in the field before final determination. Ehrharta erecta is an introduced plant in Australia.
