Swamp She-oak (Casuarina glauca)

Shore of Botany Bay at Kyeemagh, just south of Sydney Airport. Seed production can be very prolific on female trees such as this. The cones release their "seed" (actually the fruits) annually and then the cones also fall, unlike those of Allocasuarina .
